Education

LA’s Education Committee exists as a group to provide a resource for people to teach not only about what atheism is but what atheism is not. The goal is to give people perspective on religious issues and how a secular approach is preferred, especially in the realm of government and civic issues.

The Committee also maintains a small lending library of holy texts and religious/philosophy books for use by official members for research and discussion.

The Education Committee (LAEDU) meets monthly to discuss agendas and is open to official LA members as well as the general public.
